Project Director Iqbal Park injured in Lahore shooting

LAHORE: In another shooting incident in Lahore, project director of Greater Iqbal Park was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire at him on Thursday morning, ARY News reported.

According to details, the gun attack occurred near Sheranwala Gate of the old city when unknown armed motorcyclists targeted vehicle of Javed Hamid, the project director, while he was on his way to his office.

He received bullet injuries in the attack and was taken to a nearby hospital. However, no arrests were made as the attackers managed to flee from the spot.

Police officials apprised media that an FIR has been lodged and police investigating into the incident.
