ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked more than 0.2 million IP (Internet Protocol) addresses that were involved in illegal calls, ARY News reported on Saturday.
In a PTA meeting at Islamabad on Saturday, it is revealed that around1382 mobile phone SIMs have also been blocked due to prohibited activities.
Furthermore, several persons had been arrested allegedly involved in the business of illegal calls after conducting raids in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
Sources revealed that Voicecom Company was founded to be involved in the illegal calls of about 11 million minutes per month.
