ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Friday has said that the Facebook page of rock band Laal has not been blocked, ARY News reports.
Facebook users in Pakistan were not being able to gain access to the fan page of the rock band.
Laal is known for its secularist thoughts and the discussion topics on their fan page range from variety of issues such as militancy, female education and democracy.
A spokesman of PTA denied its involvement in blocking any Facebook fan pages.
Other facebook pages promoting progressive ideas such as Pakistan.meem, Roshni.Pk, Taliban Are Zaliman have also been reportedly blocked.
