PTI, JI continue protests against drones, NATO supplies


PESHAWAR: The sit-ins organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and other coalition parties in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Govt against the drone attacks and NATO supplies continues here on Sunday, ARY News reports.

Thousands of PTI and JI supporters are participating in the sit-ins organized at five different areas of the city. The protestors have raised their parties’ flags and are chanting slogans against the drone attacks.

The containers leaving for Afghanistan are being checked by the protestors.

Oil supply to the province remained suspended due to the sit-ins. The oil tankers have warned that the oil supply will be closed if their routes are not restored.
