SIALKOT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) will demonstrate its political power today (Sunday) in Sialkot at a rally where party chairman Imran Khan and other key leaders will deliver public speeches, ARY News reported.
Political figures from various parties are also expected to announce their joining in Khan led PTI, sources said.
All arrangements for public gathering at Jinnah Stadium have been finalized and inspected by various party leaders till Saturday late night.
Earlier, PTI chairman Imran had released a video message calling for maximum participation in public gathering at Jinnah Stadium on May 7 in Sialkot.
The PTI chairman had then also called on the entire nation to stand against the ‘corrupt’ prime minister by urging them to participate in the rally.
Imran Khan appealed to everyone to join PTI’s public gathering at Jinnah Stadium.
“I would like to invite everyone to the historic rally Jinnah stadium in Sialkot on May 7th,” he said.
“We are at a critical stage. We must take a stand against corruption to change the ultimate destiny of the country, lets make this a historic moment, so everyone should join us,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention that PTI has launched a campaign against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after Supreme Court’s verdict in the Panama Papers case.
