PTI still up for talks despite workers' killing

According to details, a meeting of the PTI core committee held here on Tuesday, which pondered upon the killing of PTI workers in Faisalabad and talks with the government after such an incident.

Talking to media after the meeting, Dr Shireen Mazari said that her party is ready to hold talks with the government, yet the talks should be resumed from the same point, they were suspended at.

She added that the points which were earlier agreed by both the sides, will not be discussed now.

“Our protest movement will be continued as long as we do not reach a solution”, said the central spokesperson of PTI. “This government listens to no one unless it is pressurized”.

She also condemned the killing of PTI workers in Faisalabad and said that it all happened due to Rana Sanaullah.

Shireen Mazari said that the footage of the incident is available and demanded the government to arrest the culprits. “If the government is not behind the incident, then it must arrest the culprits and investigate the forces behind them”.
