LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has tabled a resolution in Punjab Assembly demanding a thorough review of Qatari prince’s letter, ARY News reported.

The resolution was presented by PTI’s Shoaib Siddiqui in the provincial assembly.

It stated that the contents of the Qatari prince’s letter were different than what Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif mentioned in his speech in the Parliament.

“The statements made by the members of Sharif family were also different from what is stated in the letter,” Siddiqui stated.

The PTI MPA has demanded that the letter sent by the Qatari prince should be reviewed and the money trail of 12 million dirhams should be presented as well.

“The prime minister should present clarifications based on facts,” Siddiqui stated in the resolution.

It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz, in the hearing of the case on 15th November 2016, presented a letter by Qatari prince, dated November 5, 2016, claiming no money was sent abroad.
