Russia condemns Quetta police training academy attack

MOSCOW: Russia has condemned the attack on Quetta police training centre, which claimed the lives of 60 persons, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Three heavily armed militants targeted the police training centre in the vicinity of Quetta on Monday evening.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned the terrorist attack in Quetta and offered full support to Pakistan in tackling the menace of terrorism.

Putin said that the terrorists are enemies of peace in every society in the world.

He expressed optimism that the perpetrators and facilitators of the terrorist attack will be brought to justice.

The US State Department Spokesman John Kirby had also condemned the incident and said that the United States stands with Pakistan during this critical phase.

“We will continue to work with Pakistan for eradicating terrorism,” the spokesman added.
