ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri believes that the Panama Leaks issue is becoming secondary in nature, with leaders not willing to pursue it.

Qadri, in his statement on Sunday, said that he sees the Panamagate Case being “laid to rest”.

He also said that the counsels of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are partners in the same law firm. “The fees of the case will be distributed between both parties,” Qadri stated.

The Awami Tehreek chief added that several commissions were formed in the past but they did not bear any result.

“We saw the issue of the commission investigating the Model Town case closely. The decisions are made according to the consultation and wishes of the rulers,” he added.

He also said that that there is no law regarding “ruthless accountability” of the leaders.

The PAT chairman said that the party will continue to fight the Model Town Case and are confident that they will get justice.
