Qadri soon to go abroad: sources

ARY News Islamabad bureau chief Sabir Shakir quoted sources as saying that Dr Tahirul Qadri will soon be going out of the country, possibly London or Dubai, where the PAT chief will meet some of the overseas Pakistanis.

He added that Dr Qadri will return to Pakistan after two weeks of his stay abroad and will again analyze the situation to kick-off his political activities.

Sahkir said that the government circles seemed to be happy with the news of the end of PAT sit-in in Islamabad.

He went on revealing that the sit-in was ended as a result of back-door talks between Dr Tahirul Qadri and the Sharif brothers, facilitated by a mutual contact.

It was further reported that the

leadership of Awami Tehreek was reviewing the situation of the Islamabad sit-ins and it realized that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) was gaining much appreciation by holding countrywide rallies and hence the government succeeded in dividing the two partners who were leading their joint struggle against it, for over 70 days.

On the other hand, PTI leader, Imran Ismail when asked to comment on the development, admitted that his party did have moral support by the Awami Tehreek, however PTI will still continue its sit-in until the achievement of its goals, as the party chairman Imran Khan has vowed time and again.

Ismail however said that the end of PAT sit-in will not have much effect on PTI’s struggle.
