Qaim "not happy" over mode of targeted operations

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, speaking at the inauguration of Nusrat Bhutto Underpass here in Karachi, said that he was the captain of the targeted operations in the metropolis but he was not taken into confidence.

“I complained to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that corruption is all over the country but why Sindh is being targeted. This is an attack on the province”, he said.

The chief minister also said that he was disappointed over the arrest of Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr. Asim Hussain.

“I told Director General Rangers to provide any evidences against Dr. Asim Hussain but they were not given to me”, he added.

He also said that Rangers, during the raid at Civic Centre, seized the land documents of the citizens as well as the revenue papers.

“It seems that law of the jungle prevails here”, Shah said.

CM Sindh said that Mr. Zardari is out of the country for medical check-up and will return soon.
