KARACHI: The quack Adnan Saleem, who administered wrong injection to eight-year-old girl Saba on Saturday night which left her dead, on Sunday confessed that the girl was in normal condition when she was brought to his clinic in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, ARY News reported.

“After she was administered the injection and she started having seizures, parents of the victim told me that she gets fits when she is administered an injection,” Adnan Saleem said while exclusively talking to ARY News.

He said he had asked her father to immediately take Saba to the intensive care unit of hospital.

The quack also admitted that he was not an MBBS doctor, instead, he claimed, that he was a Homeopathic doctor.

Deputy Superintendent Police Gulshan Ali Hassan said his medical degree was being verified, while the initial investigation suggested that his documents were bogus. He said the prescription and other things recommended for the girl had been confiscated.
