Rana addresses seminar on Anti-Corruption Day

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) organized a seminar here on Monday regarding the Anti-Corruption Day, while a rally was also taken out on this occasion. Provincial Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah said that corruption will end only when the society will start hating the corrupt individuals – ARY News reports.

 

Addressing the seminar organized by NAB at Al-Hamra Hall here, Rana Sanaullah said that corruption is like a cancer that demolishes societies, it is the biggest obstacle in the way of progress.

 

He said that corruption can only be eradicated by inciting a national awareness about it. He added that when the society will start hating corrupt masses, then the corruption will itself be ended.

 

Speaking about a farewell dinner given to former President, Asif Ali Zardari, the Law Minister stated that the red-carpet dinner was not given to any individual, it was given to the President of Pakistan, while who so ever has done corruption, he will surely be apprehended by the law.

 

He labeled it an encouraging fact that Pakistan’s name in the list of corrupt countries has lowered a bit.

 

After the seminar, a rally was also taken out from Al-Hamra Hall that concluded at the Assembly Hall; Rana Sanaullah also participated in the rally.
