A boy who has chained his bicycle to the same lamp post for well over a year has been rewarded with a reserved parking spot in the cutest possible way.
A woman Christie Dietz said a kind-hearted stranger had permanently reserved the parking spot for her son by using a custom-made sticker.
The food and travel writer shared a picture of a lamppost where her four-year-old son parked his bicycle for the past one year in Wiesbaden, Germany,
“My son has parked his bike by this lamp post just about every day for the last year. This morning, this sticker had appeared. Absolutely made our day. People can be so brilliant. Thank you, whoever did it,” Dietz wrote on Twitter.
The stranger had taken a picture of his bike and posted it to the pole where he usually locks it up, indicating that only the bike is permitted to be there.
“The sticker is just brilliant, and we were all really touched that someone thought of and then actually went to the trouble of making it,” she told a media outlet.
Though Dietz has no idea could have done the good deed for her son, she says that she plans on leaving a note by the parking spot to properly thank whomever may have created it.
“We don’t know who did it, but we live in a pretty quiet neighbourhood and I have the feeling that whoever put the sticker there did so for the pure joy of it, so although I’ve written them a thank you note, I don’t expect to find out who it is.”
Dietz’s tweet went viral in no time receiving over 285,000 likes on Twitter and many people praised the sweet gesture of the stranger. Here are some of the reactions to the viral post:
