The Karachi Kings owner said then he thought an idea of taking advantage of this opportunity to uplift street cricket to at least domestic level if not international level by founding a charity foundation.

He also said after they had lost the semi-final match against Peshawar Zalmi, foreign players of Karachi Kings, including Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sanagakkara,  lamented over the loss and said they were all ready to come to Pakistan for the final.

This should be noted that prior to the semi-final Bopara had publicly announced his availability for the final in Lahore.

The CEO ARY Digital Network suggested that Chairman Pakistan Super League Najam Sethi should have at least thanked owners of PSL franchises on stage while addressing the culminating ceremony of the mega event.

He admitted that PSL management would itself have done a lot for the PSL, but efforts of owners of PSL franchises were also second to none.
