Police tells court, Rehman Dakait's missing son arrested in two cases

KARACHI: Local police informed Sindh High Court on Wednesday that the missing son of slain gang war kingpin Rehman Dakait, has been arrested after an encounter with police.

Kalakot police submitted reply in the high court over a petition with regard to Sarban, missing son of slain notorious gangster Rehman Dakait.

Police in its answer to the court notice in the case confirmed that Sarban has been arrested in two cases against him. “Sarban has been involved in heinous crimes. He was arrested in an encounter with police,” according to the police.

“Two cases have been registered against him at Kalakot police station,” police said.

The court dismissed the petition with regard to disappearance of the slain gangster’s son after reply of the police.

Rehman Dakait’s son Sarban, was also arrested earlier by police in scores of cases of heinour crimes.
