Released prisoners have no connection with Taliban: Maulana Yousuf

PESHAWAR: Coordinator Taliban committee for peace talks, Maulana Yousuf Shah, said the prisoners released from North Waziristan had no link with the Taliban, ARY News reported Sunday.
Talking to media in Haripur, Maulana Yousuf said talks between the government and the Taliban will be held to discuss the release of non-combatant prisoners.
He said those opposing dialogue process with the Taliban were working on the US agenda.
Security and sustainable peace is dependent on success of government-Taliban peace talks, he added.
