Indian actor Ashutosh Rana is quite known for his negative roles and won accolades for his amazing performances, primarily in Sangharsh, that shot him to fame.
Rana gave a power packed performance as Lajja Shankar Pandey, a religious fanatic who believes in the sacrifice of children to gain immortality Sangharsh. He even bagged a Filmfare Award for Best Villain. Today, he is associated with regional cinema and is also managing character based roles in Bollywood movies.
He is also best remembered for Dushman (1998) in which Kajol and Sanjay Dutt had lead performances
He was last seen in ‘Shorgul’ as a politician. On the personal front, the actor is happily married to actress Renuka Shahane with two sons, Shouryaman and Satyendra.
