Renowned politician Nawab Khair Baksh Marri dies at an age of 86

KARACHI: Renowned politician and Baloch nationalist leader, Nawab Khair Baksh Marri has died here on Tuesday. He was admitted in a private hospital of Karachi for few days – ARY News reports.

Nawab Khair Baksh Marri was born in 1928 in Quetta, he became the Chief of Marri tribe in 1950.

Nawab Marri was considered to be the pioneer of nationalist politics in Balochistan, he died at an age of 86.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain, Head of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), Sardar Akhter Mengal have expressed their grief over the death of Nawab Khair Baksh Marri.
