The court has granted former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, who has been an accused in the case, exemption from presence in the court hearing and Iqbal Qureshi Advocate appeared before the court on his behalf.
Accountability Judge Mohammad Bashir during the hearing sought original summary of the federal cabinet’s decision about the Rental Power Plant Naudero II. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) counsel requested for time to produce the summary in the court.
The counsel of the accused objected over the plea of the NAB counsel. The court,however, granted the request and adjourned the hearing untill September 1st.
