Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) South Omer Shahid released the detailed report of the case which highlighted that by the help of CCTV footage, the investigators found out new facts. “A personal servant was found involved in fetching the bottles in a shopping bag without going through screening,” SSP said.

We also suspected that an attempt was also made to destroy the evidence, SSP Omer stated.

To which the chief secretary revealed that tempering is done in this case and the report will be submitted to the court.

The top judge stressed that if he wanted, he could have ordered confiscation of bottles and apprehension of the bottle keeper then and there.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday paid a surprise visit to Ziauddin Hospital where he found three bottles of liquor in the room of the incarcerated PPP leader.
