VEHARI: A head-on collision between two cars in Vehari left four people dead and two others injured on Sunday.
According to the details, rescue officials rushed to the scene after being informed and shifted the bodies and the injured to nearby hospital.
Police said that the ill-fated family were going to attend a mirage ceremony when their car met with an accident on Vehari-Multan road. Sources said that the deceased were close relative of the groom.
Police have registered a case and launched investigations into the accident. Hospital sources said that the injured were in critical condition and doctors were trying to save their lives

Earlier, at least nine members of a family, including three children and four women, had been killed in a head-on collision between a car and truck on the Indus Highway in Rojahn on December 30.

However, the truck driver was shifted to the hospital in critical condition. Police said that the reason behind the accident was over speeding. The police official seized the truck and launched investigations into the accident.
