Road accident kills Pakistan Army soldier

According to the details received by ARY News, a convoy of Pakistan Army’s 20 Lancer Unit was heading towards Gujranwala to provide security on Muharram-ul-Haram when it crashed near Jandwala while saving an oncoming car.

The military truck fell into nearby farm land due to which Lance Naik Qamar-uz-Zaman died on the spot and other soldiers were wounded.

The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment by the help of army vehicles and Rescue 1122 teams whereas several injured have been moved to Combined Military Hospital Sargodha due to the seriousness of their injuries.

Some of the injured have also been shifted to Sargodha Hospital for medical attendance.
