According to details, Sadiq challenged his disqualification as an MNA in the SC Lahore Registry today.
The election tribunal had declared the election in NA-122 null and void and disqualified Sadiq, ordering a re-poll in the constituency.
Ayaz Sadiq in his appeal did not seek stay against tribunal’s verdict.
He pleaded the apex court to suspend the tribunal’s verdict and fine worth Rs 30 lac.
