JODHPUR: Referred as ‘Qaidi number 106’ in the confinement, Salman Khan spent a night in Jodhpur jail following a court verdict against him in blackbuck poaching case.

Sentenced to five years in prison for killing two blackbucks about 20 years ago during shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain, the actor has been kept in ward no. 2 at the Jodhpur Jail, and was served the same meal as rest of his inmates.

The 52-year-old actor was served dal-roti and vegetables for dinner, but according to Press Trust of India, he refused it. He wasn’t allowed to get food from outside.

Jail superintendent Vikram Singh, while briefing the media said Khan would be treated as a normal prisoner and no special treatment would be given to him.
