Sanaullah likely to be reinstated as Punjab law minister

According to sources, the provincial government has planned to expand Punjab cabinet and announcement in this regard will be made soon.

The expansion of cabinet will be, according to sources, in two phases – before and after the federal budget.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had removed Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and his own secretary Dr Tauqir Shah on June 21, 2014, on pressure of Pakistan Awami Tehreek.

At least 10 activists of the Dr Qadri-led PAT had been killed and more than 100 injured during clashes in June last year with police who had raided the Minhaj offices to remove security barriers.
