He was addressing a congregational prayer held at MQM Headquarters Nine Zero in memory of the martyrs of May 12 incident. During the gathering, a documentary made by MQM relating to May 12 carnage was also screened.
Talking to media, he said that the incident proved to be a national tragedy, which caused enough loss to the country.
“May 12 incident affected MQM the most, as 14 of its activists were killed on the day, but the rest of the parties often seen making fuss over the incident could not issue the names of their martyr till date,” castigated Sattar.
Criticizing Zulfikar Mirza, the MQM leader said that Mirza’s statement of declaring MQM responsible of May 12 carnage is irresponsible.
He questioned why not the report of judicial inquiry of May 12 incident is revealed.
While referring to Mirza Farm House in Badin, he demanded the institutions to take notice of a “state within a state” and take an action against it.
