KARACHI, January 19, 2026: The Saudi Riyal (SAR) drifted lower to Rs74.65 against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) in today’s open market, a small decline from Rs74.66 yesterday and still comfortably below the mid-2025 high of Rs76.03 recorded in July, currency dealers confirmed.

The selling rate settled at Rs75.22. This quiet downward movement, shaped by ongoing market recalibrations and steady remittance inflows, reaffirms the Saudi Riyal’s vital role in Pakistan’s economic landscape.
