According to details, the petition was filed by Justice (R) Shahid Mahmood Siddiqui in which the petitioner took the stance that the court should declare the Elections 2013 as invalid, for the polls held were not transparent.
The apex court while approving the petition, fixed a date of October 29 for its initial hearing.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will conduct the hearing of the petition on October 29.
Here it is mandatory to note that almost all of the political parties, except the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), had voiced their reservations on the Elections 2013 and said that the polls were massively rigged.
