SC gives chance to PTI Chairman to appear in NAB law review hearing

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court in its written order in the NAB law amendments case has provided opportunity to PTI Chairman to appear in the court, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Chairman PTI has been the main petitioner in the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) amendments case.

The court in its written order stated, it is issuing notices to all parties in the case.

“A copy of the court order should be delivered to the Chairman PTI who has been imprisoned in Adiala Jail,” according to the written order. “The Jail Superintendent should make arrangements if he intends to appear in the court,” order read.

“The appeals against the supreme court verdict in NAB law amendments case, have been conditioned with the detailed verdict of the Supreme Court (Practice & Procedure) Act, 2023,” according to the written order.

The court has issued notices to the Attorney General and all provincial advocate generals.

The notice to the chairman PTI will be served via the jail superintendent.
