The bench has issued order on a petition of the wife of Dr. Asim Hussain, seeking transfer of the former petroleum minister to hospital.
The judge in his remarks said that security is a serious issue and urged for proper security of the former petroleum minister.
The court issued notices to Sindh Rangers and the federation over the plea and adjourned the hearing till Octorber 07.
Moreover, the Rangers submitted their reply in Sindh High Court in a contempt petition regarding detention of Asim Hussain.
The Rangers lawyer informed the court that all necessary medicines are being provided to the detainee.
The court adjourned the hearing of the petition till October 13.
Dr Asim Hussain was arrested under the charges of corruption, abuse of power and facilitating terrorists.
An anti-terrorism court had awarded 90 days’ physical remand of the former PPP minister to the Rangers.
