ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership seemed to have got into hot waters for consistently criticizing the Joint Investigation Team probing money laundering allegations against the Sharif family, ARY News reported.

The apex court’s three-member bench, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, today sought the transcripts of all speeches made by the PML-N leaders during the period of last 60 days.

The Panama JIT investigation into money laundering allegations against the Sharif family spanned 60 days, during which the PML-N leaders were seen making headlines for their diatribe against what they repeatedly said ruthless accountability of the first family.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr. Asif Kirmani, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Daniyal Aziz and other leaders were in the forefront of slamming the probing team.

Through the 60-day investigation, the PML-N leaders expressed their reservation over constitution of the JIT, its composition and summoning certain members of the Sharif family.

Asif Kirmani had went to brand two members of the Panama JIT enemies of PM Nawaz Sharif.

Former PML-N loyalist Nehal Hashmi has already been bearing the brunt of his diatribe against the judiciary and Panama JIT members for conducting accountability of the Sharifs as the court is about to indict him in a contempt of court case.
