SC takes back contempt notice against IG FC

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court withdrawn contempt notice to Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Major General Ijaz Shahid after he appeared before the court in contempt case against him on Thursday, ARY News reports. 

A bench of the apex court headed by Justice Nasir ul Mulk during the  hearing withdrawn contempt notice against I.G. FC after his appearing before the court and ordered him to submit his report on missing persons within 15 days.

Justice Nasir ul Mulk in his remarks said that the contempt notice was issued after the I.G. FC failed to appear before the court and being withdrawn after his presence in the court. 

The court later adjourned the hearing till January 15.
