The security forces cordoned off the area near Chipri check-post on a tip-off regarding smuggling of weapons.
A heavy cache of weapons was recovered from a Suzuki during checking. Sources said modern weapons were found from the vehicle’s rear portion concealed under a mat.
Sezied weapons include kalashinkov, more than 100 pistols and several cartridges.
