ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Prime Minister House on Monday, ARY News reported.
According to the prime minister’s spokesman, during the meeting, security situation of the country came under discussion, besides other significant issues.
In the wake of recent Pakistan-India tensions, the army chief reviewed the geo-strategic environment and current regional situation at the Corps Commanders’ Conference at the General Headquarters last week,
The forum expressed strong will, resolve and determination to the defence the motherland against any misadventure or aggression.

Grave concerns were raised on increased Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir post-Pulwama attack and continuous violation of the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian troops.
The commanders also reviewed progress on implementation of the National Action Plan 2014.
