Senate of Pakistan named House of Federation

The logo of the upper house will also be changed after the new title, for which the house has already given a go-ahead.

Chairman Raza Rabbani presided today’s session of the House of Federation, during which the house passed a resolution against the publishing of blasphemous caricatures in the United States (U.S.).

The motion was tabled by PMLQ’s Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, which stated that the sketches are hurting the sentiments of entire Muslim world.

It also called for high-level measures for the prevention of publishing of such caricatures.
