According to details, a convict named Behram Khan will be hanged in Karachi at 6.30 am. He had killed a lawyer in the Sindh High Court (SHC) premises back in 2003.
Behram’s execution will be the first one taking place at Central Jail Karachi since 2008.
In Sukkur prison, three convicts namely Muhammad Talha, Khalil Ahmad and Shahid Hanif will meet their fate also at 6.30 am. They were convicted for the killing of a senior official of the Defense Ministry and his driver.
Separately, two more convicts Naik Nawazish Ali and Mushtaq Ahmad involved in attacks on Mehran Base and former president Pervez Musharraf would be hanged in District Jail Faisalabad.
Black warrant of another convict, Zulfikar has been sent to the Adiyala Jail, where he will be executed at 6.30 am. Zulfikar was sentenced for waging an attack on the US Consulate in Karachi.
Jail authorities had earlier arranged the last meeting between convicts and their families.
Stern security arrangements have been made in view of the execution of convicts at relative prisons.
