MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is quite known for his wit and sense of humour. The King Khan can pull off sarcasm as easy as no one other. He did exactly when he was questioned whether he was considering to host Bigg Boss.

The 51-year-old star said he was not averse to hosting the controversial reality TV series, but has never been offered a show in the format.

At a recent event, SRK was asked if he would like to host ‘Bigg Boss’, to which he said, “I have hosted several shows. But honestly, I have not been approached for such kind of show, yet. If I will have time, I will. If it gives good money. Having said that, I am not charging for TED as much as the other actors are for their respective shows.” Meanwhile, TED Talks’ ‘Nayi Soch’ is expected to have a set of renowned speakers such as Oprah Winfrey, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, lyricist Javed Akhtar to filmmaker and producer Karan Johar on the show.

“There is no question of being a host to X or Y (show) that all movie stars are doing, they have interesting things to say. I have never been approached for a show of that format. If offered, if I am free and if the money is good I will (do it),” Shah Rukh told reporters.

“Having said that, I am not saying that this show is so different that we are not competing on the platform. In no way I want be derisive of the entertainment that they will provide on television through the respective shows that they are doing.”

He added the three shows cannot compete with each other as they are unique in their concepts and content.
