Shah vows to keep mounting pressure on PM to resign

Shah said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who himself had asked for Yousuf Raza Gillani’s rtesignation, should now step down on moral grounds.

He said the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today gave the workers a new strategy and from today onwards Nawaz Sharif will be increasingly under pressure to step down.

The opposition leader said that we will not refrain even if we had to take to streets for this purpose.

Earlier in the evening, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warned PM Sharif that his days were numbered and he would not be able to complete his tenure, hence he should step down.

“PM Sharif will not be able to complete his constitutional tenure for his the boat of his government is sinking,” he said while addressing a public gathering in Kotli, Azad & Jammu Kashmir (AJK).

Amid chants against the premier with a special reference to his bonding with Indian PM Narendra Modi, the PPP chairman said that the Panama Papers leaks had badly exposed Nawaz-league’s corruption.
