‘Pakistan Army has given immense sacrifices’, says Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif  has said that Pakistan Army has given everlasting sacrifices for the country, ARY News reports on Monday.

The statement was made during a key meeting of the law and order chaired by Shahbaz Sharif.

“Pakistan Army has given everlasting sacrifices for the country and time has come to get rid of the terrorists”, Sharif said. He also said that the entire nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with its troops.

Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Naveed Zaman, Director General Punjab Rangers and General Officer of Commanding were present.

It was decided in the meeting that the security will be tightened around sensitive areas and important buildings.

Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the meeting, said that foolproof security should be made in Punjab and necessary steps should be taken to ensure the life and property of the people.

He also instructed the provincial authorities to strictly monitor the entry and exit routes of the province.

CM Punjab also said that the law enforcing agencies should to look over suspects through a joint coordination.
