Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has revealed what he thinks is his secret to a happy life after marriage, being an “obedient puppy”.
“It is a reality. You can’t get through marriage without being an obedient puppy dog sometimes. It is required. It is part of the job profile. You want to live a happy life, you have to listen to your wife without a doubt,” the Haider star told Indian magazine Filmfare’s Youtube channel in an interview.
Shahid Kapoor, who is now a father to two adorable children, was of the view that marriage helped him discover himself.
“You discover yourself. You discover your domesticated side as a man,” said the Udta Punjab actor.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married in July 2015 and welcomed their second child Zain Kapoor last year.
On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ while the year 2019 will see him in ‘Kabir Singh’, a remake of critically acclaimed Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’.
When the film’s title was announced as ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Arjun Reddy’ star Vijay Vijay Devarakonda took to Twitter and wished the team of the film the very best.
