Sharif family head to London for Eid celebration

At least 13 members of the family departed for London this morning. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s son Salman Shahbaz was also among those headed to London.

The PM’s family members arrived at the airport amid a strict security protocol and took a flight PK-757.

PM Sharif is already in London and convalescing after his open-heart surgery.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his sisters Bakhtawar and Aseefa will also likely celebrate Eid in London. Asif Ali Zardari will also arrive in the UK to spend Eid day with his children.

PTI chief Imran Khan will spend Eid in Pakistan but may leave for London on third day.
