Sharjeel Memon’s petition is illegal and non maintainable: NAB

According to details, the National Accountability Bureau responded to a petition filed by PPP member and former Information Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon. In its response, NAB stated that Memon was being investigated for alleged corruption amounting to rupees five billion. The accountability body also stated that NAB was carrying out its activities in accordance with the law. The response also stated that Sharjeel Memon’s petition was illegal and non-maintainable.

Sharjeel Memon had filed the petition in Sindh High Court against NAB. The PPP member who is in Dubai these days alleged that he was not involved in financial corruption neither had he misused his powers as Information Minister of Sindh.
