KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday restrained Sindh government from receiving infrastructure tax over a plea of the LNG Pakistan, ARY News reported.
The court also directed the LNG Pakistan to deposit bank guarantee in the court.
“The company was not utilizing infrastructure of Sindh province,” the company’s counsel argued before the high court bench. “LNG being supplied to all parts of the country via pipelines from the sea,” Barrister Talha said.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case and summoned reply from the Sindh government over the matter.
