Ironically, the SHO was placed in custody right in his very own police station, where he was a figure of authority. SSP Shikarpur Nasir Aftab raided the police station and discovered that five people were kept there in illegal custody.
As a result, the SSP took action and locked up SHO Shikarpur. He also disclosed that complaints regarding the SHO had also been received in the past. A case was been registered against SHO Pervez Mithianvi, who was also subsequently demoted.
Pervez Mithianvi will appear before the court today.
