Shoaib Malik bids farewell to test cricket

Shoaib Malik thanked his family and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for supporting him. He said that he wants to give youngsters a chance.

Malik added that he will continue playing for Pakistan in the one day and twenty20 formats. He expressed his optimism to be a part of the country’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 squad.

The batsman scored his first double century of his test career against England at Abu Dhabi this year. He scored a duck in his last test innings.

Shoaib Malik played 34 test matches for Pakistan and scored 1860 runs in 58 innings with 245 being his highest score. He has three centuries and eight fifties to his name.

Malik also took 25 wickets in his test career.
