SIC backs PAT, PML-Q ten-point agenda

KARACHI: Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Hamid Raza on Sunday announcing its support to grand alliance said formation of grand alliance is mandatory for electoral reforms, ARY News reported.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza welcomed the ten-point agenda presented by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). He demanded that government to impose agricultural emergency in the country for five years as well as to allocate 5-percent of the budget for agriculture.

Chairman SIC asked to stop the import of cotton, potato, corn and vegetables from India.

He further said that General Sales Tax (GST) of agricultural medicines and machineries should be removed.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza said that sugar mill owners should pay due payments of farmers at earliest.
