KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday directed the secretary education (colleges and schools) to pay special focus on improving educational standard.
“This would happen when the teachers would take classes properly, check copies, give home work to students and personally involve in the system, otherwise nothing would improve,” he said presiding over a meeting with provincial Education Department officials.
On this occasion, Murad Ali Shah expressed satisfaction on resumption of classes at Aisha Bawani College.

“It was the commitment of Sindh government and support of students, parents, teachers and the civil society that education activities returned to Aisha Bawani, otherwise it would have been turned into marriage hall,” he said.
He also issued directives to all the government departments, particularly the education, health and local government departments to properly follow their cases pending in the courts.
“Onward I would take disciplinary actions if the any department lost the legal battles in the courts,” he warned.
