Sindh Governor meets PM, discusses anti-encroachment drive in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday and discussed anti-encroachment operation in Karachi and other matters, ARY News reported.

Sindh governor also discussed problems faced by industrialists and traders in the city during his meeting with the prime minister.

The governor also requested the prime minister for a visit of Karachi. PM Imran Khan accepted the governor’s request and said he will visit Karachi on coming Sunday.

PM Imran Khan will meet the delegations of industrialists and traders during his stay in Karachi.

The prime minister will also be briefed about the ongoing volatility in the stock exchange during his visit.

PM Khan, during his visit to Karachi, will also get a briefing on the law and order situation of the city. He will also meet with the party leaders of the city during his stay.

The Prime Minister amid meeting with the governor also directed the Attorney General to file a review petition in Supreme Court over the anti-encroachment operation in the city.

Governor Ismail talking on the occasion, said that the people have great expectations from the PTI government. He said that the steps taken by the government for economic stability will bear lasting fruits for the country.
