KARACHI: Protest sit-ins being held across Sindh after detention of Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain over money laundering charges in London, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

A protest sit-in of the MQM workers has been continuing at Numaish Chowrangi of Karachi since Tuesday evening. Central leaders of MQM also attending the protest in which a large number of women and children were also present.

A delegation of People’s Party headed by senior provincial minister Nisar Khuhro also attended the protest to express solidarity with Sindh coalition partners MQM.

People distributing edible items, bottled water and beverages among the participants of the sit-in.

A large number of MQM workers are present at roads in Hyderabad, the second largest city of Sindh, to express their solidarity with the party chief Altaf Hussain.

Protest sit-ins also being held in Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Tando Allahyar, Nawabshah, Larkana, Naushehro Feroz and other cities and towns of Sindh.
